Shoulder screws are machine screws that have an unthreaded shoulder under the head that is larger in diameter than the threads. Shoulder screws have three main section head, shoulder and thread. The head is the largest diameter, while the thread has a major diameter that is slightly smaller than the diameter of the shoulder. It acts like a shaft or dowel for the rotation or sliding of attached parts including pulleys, gears, mechanical assemblies. This screw is specially designed for hand tight products and griper is attached on the head. Stainless steels are iron-based alloys, which contains minimum of chromium around 10.5 percent. The presence of chromium offers corrosion resistance to stainless steel and helps to resist scaling at elevated temperatures. Stainless steel also maintains excellent toughness property. The screw is highly reliable, durable and efficient and provides high performance at elevated temperatures.
