The Hexagon Head Screw is designed to use with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems. The screw is made up of stainless steel 18-8 and manufactured using high precision techniques which helps to achieve a good surface finish as well as good product consistency. The high dimensional stability of the screw ensures its precise fit in the required assembly. The screw allows more torque to be applied to it. The base material of the screw is stainless steel with zinc plated, which offers wide physical properties. Stainless steels are iron-based alloys, which has a minimum of chromium around 10.5%. The presence of chromium offers corrosive resistance to stainless steel and helps to resist scaling at higher temperature. Stainless steel also maintains an excellent toughness.
