Product Overview
The Angio Power Supply is a detector power supply system which is being used in an X-ray system. This detector power supply is referred to as the “DPU”. This assembly is being used in the Angio Detector sub-assemblies. The power supply consists of a readily available front end and a Power Supply Control Board (PSCB). The DPU is powered from either 230 VAC or 120VAC at 50/60 Hz and deliver nominal output voltages of 19.2, -24.4, 7.35, 6.25, -5.25 Volts. The front-end is basically an AC-DC converter that has multiple DC outputs. There are 5 different supplies, which make up the DPU. There are three connectors to/from the DPU and three connectors are AC line Power to the DPU, Power to the detector (output of DPU), Status / Control of the DPU to the X-ray EXTERNAL CONTROLLER. All parts have edges, which are rounded, smooth, and free of all imperfections, which could present a safety hazard to the operator, the patient, or field service personnel. All normally exposed surfaces of ferrous materials are protected against rust or corrosion. All AC wiring is twisted to reduce susceptibility of the supply to external EMI. Each and every part in the power supply assembly are labeled for easy identification. The DPU has met the Test Acceptance Criteria for the Vibration Test, Classical Shock Test, and Shipping Drop Test. It is packed in its standard shipping carton.
