Product Overview
The Trackballs are used in ultrasound devices for cursor control. It is used during the ultrasound scanning, to scroll through and find the area of interest. It is a pointing device that has a ball held by a socket containing sensors used to detect a rotation of the ball. It generates precise digital signals by rotating the ball with a hand or finger in any direction. Signals are obtained by rotating the ball, which is mechanically coupled to the encoders via rollers. Two rollers located at 90 degrees to each other turn respective rotary encoders such that the X and Y components of ball rotation are output as electrical signals. This trackball is used for navigation and is part of a keyboard assembly of LOGIQ Book XP and LOGIQ Book XP Pro Portable Ultrasound systems.
