The Retaining Compound 609 is a type of adhesive material. It is designed for the bonding of cylindrical fit parts. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. It has a shelf life of least a year and the toxicity is extremely low.
