Product Overview

A lightbulb socket, light socket, lamp socket or lampholder is a device which provides electrical connections and mechanically supports a compatible electric lamp. These Sockets allow lamps to be safely and conveniently replaced (re-lamping). This Lamp Socket is made up of high quality Steatite Ceramic material that gives it good insulation & heat resistance properties. The Duranickel Silver Plated contacts of the socket helps it to bear load of 10 Amperes or 750 Watts continously, along with that, the push-lock terminals aids in easy installation and lamp replacements. The housing of this socket is dimensionally stable, hence, the unit fixes perfectly without any fuss. This lamp socket is suitable for Tungsten Halogen 2 Pin Prefocus Lamps and is compatible to be used in GE's X-Ray system's assemblies such as SENTRY II Collimator, Mammography unit, VAS Gantry etc.
