Product Overview

A motor run capacitor is used to energize the second-phase winding (auxiliary coil) to create a rotating magnetic field while the motor is running. This run capacitors is polypropylene film capacitor which is energized the entire time the motor is running. This capacitor act as a filter and helps in power factor correction. The run capacitor filter comes in aluminum can filled with oil to dissipate the heat generated. This capacitor has 4-prong quick disconnect terminals which provides easy assembling. This filter assembly is internally protected using pressure sensitive interrupters that causes them to fail before internal pressures can cause any breakdown. This filters can be easily mount on chasis with the help of holder or bracket. This capacitor filter is diligently designed to offer a service life of 60000 hours with a 94% survival rate when operated at full voltage, 60 Hz, and rated ambient temperature. This capacitor filter is compatible for use with the equipments of GE's Computed Tomography (CT) Systems.
