This battery door is used in the pulse oximeter of Tuffsat patient Monitoring System. It serves as a protection for the battery. It is made of GE Cycoloy C 2950 HF, a combination of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and Polycarbonate (PC). The material combines the most desirable properties of both resins, the excellent processability of ABS and the superior mechanical properties and heat resistance of polycarbonate. The Cycoloy resins offer good UV stability, good paint adhesion properties, ductility and toughness also at subzero temperatures. The part is free from dirt, grease oil or releasing agents. It is compatible with Pulse Oximetry, a noninvasive method for monitoring a person's oxygen saturation.
