Product Overview

The Screw Thread Forming for Light Metals PTDG4 x 6 mm Torx Head are part used in a Patient Monitoring. The Torx screw head system is shaped like a six-pointed star, and to many users is simply referred to as a star screw that requires star screwdrivers of star bits to install them. The Torx screw heads are designed to prevent "cam-out," helping to sustain the screw as well as the screwdriver or bit. Torx screwdrivers and bits are available to fit each size of Torx screw head and should not be used for other size Torx screws. The Torx type screws, allow you to apply more torque, letting you fasten the screw much tighter and without the danger of striping the head. The shape and increased contact between the driver and the screw are used more torque both when it is installed and then it is removed. The Torx screws were designed resist cam-out, this feature allows titanium Torx screws to provide increased torque as well as better torque transfer between the driver and fasteners.
